In 2014, he took a courageous leap and, with his partner community, launched a cold-brew coffee business—starting at a local farmers’ market and working relentlessly until the idea took flight. That same tenacity defined his life.

When Drew passed in 2017 following exposure to methylene chloride, his loved ones transformed grief into action, successfully championing legislative change on Capitol Hill to prevent future tragedy and developing this Foundation in his name. Today, Drew’s legacy fuels possibility, supporting entrepreneurs, innovators, and risk-takers who dare to build something meaningful and lasting.

These eligible applicants include small-business owners, emerging entrepreneurs, and individuals creating value for and strengthening their communities.
